It has been ages since I cut these Bora foxes and brownish thrifted fabric into an Ole for Thor. I totally forgot about it till I went rummaging through my unfinished projects. There was size 6y for the one that is turning 7 in a few months but it miraculously still fits pretty well. On Instagram I already told I wasn’t too fond of the fabric anymore but now that I see it finished on Thor I think it looks pretty good.
This sweater made with the Zonen 09 sewing pattern Ole is reversible. Little guys tend to think this is crazy cool but Thor already told me he likes the foxes the most.
Big ♥ for this always-cheerful Thor!
Since last year I have a new computer. It is my first mac and I love it. Because it keeps getting harder for me to work from home, I take him with me looking for inspiring places to work from. A few times a week you can find me and my precious in the coworking place Likebirds. Other times, when I just have a few hours of computer work, I like working at Vooruit café, Voka box, Or or Colette.
Till now I wrapped my mac in bubblewrap, but that got to shameful… I often pinned covers I liked and those always consist of grey felt and brown leather so I decided to make one like that myself. I found the perfect light grey at Piet Moodshop when I saw the Hay placemats over there. The leather straps were a present from Pand 42. The little locks come from Mertens Mercerie.
Originally I wanted to add an extra layer of felt so I could put away some paper notes but that didn’t work on my sewing machine. The thread started to act all weird because three layers were way to thick so I had to keep it simple.
The result of a perfect match I found in my fabric stash: One to Hug from Mind the Whale in size 68 for E.
